Room for kids
Let me show you some more images from Camilla´s home. Camilla and her two kids: Morris and Laura live in a house not far from my home. The walls are white and so are the floors, but the home is far from minimalistic. It is obvious there is room for kids here. It´s seen everywhere. Cozy nests of pillows and blankets made here and there, like infront of the fireplace with their dog Gunnar. And toys and crafts mixed in with Camilla´s books and her knitting.
This home is truly “alive” and it is one of those places where it is easy to feel “at home” you come in the door, pour yourself a cup of coffee and just have a seat. You can continue on an ongoing project if you like. There is usually something on the table. Like the cups of news paper, seen below. They are for planting seeds.
Containers for pens made out of old milk cartons decorated with pictures from magazines.
Morris was busy painting when I got there.
Embroidery kits found in fleamarkets. Laura gets to finish something that someone started a long time ago.
Another scrap decorated storage box. This one is for beads, it used to carry yoghurt.
