Saturday morning at our house. I burnt myself on some damn hot oil yesterday. Now I´m framing pictures with one hand. Lucky for me Jens took the kids swimming.

I have a friend who loves books. She is going to build a huge bookshelf for them. But until then they are all over her home. I love it. Looks so cozy.
Since this post is mostly pictures I want to end it with a quote from my idol John Waters:
“It wasn’t until I started reading and found books they wouldn’t let us read in school that I discovered you could be insane and happy and have a good life without being like everybody else.”
When I was in Göteborg I also took the time to go to Borås – a town 40 minutes from Göteborg know for it’s textile and wallpaper industry. It’s als o the home of Boråstapeter and Mr Perswall
I love visiting factories. To see how things are made. I still have a very vivid picture from a how it’s made show on Tv from when I was a kid. In one of them they showed how to make rubber boots and in another how the red color in candy comes from lice. And I have been addicted ever since.
Apparently this way of making the wallpapers is really old. Just look at these fantastic patterns!
I was a bit unlucky cause they just cleaned the printers before I came.
I guess I have to go back to see more!
I wish I had a working space like this.
