Hello everybody.
I am working on a new visit for you. The home of the family behind the company Charlie Charlie. They live and work in a really nice house outside of Stockholm. Going through the photos I found the family´s dollhouse and decided it deserved a post of it´s own. So here it is.

We have a new shelf in our house. Once we put up all of our books we realized that some space was still empty. It did not take long until I saw that the hight of the “rooms” were perfect for Barbie.

With some furniture, fabric and an Iphone me and Viola made a cinema-theater, an office and a lounge. The curtains and the flags are my favorite things. I love making miniature things, they are so quick to make compared to real life size.

PS. Notice how Shaggy has taken Barbie to see an episode of Scooby Doo. But the couple did not get to see the end because Viola got so intrigued by the movie she stole the screen from them and crawled “downstairs” and finished it on her own.

It’s fun to see how we tend to think alike.
Many times I get an exellent ide to discover it in a book or a magazine the day after.
The small world and the ideas travel fast.
I guess we are all more connected and alike than we want or tend to think…
Anyway, a couple of years ago I rennovated my old dollhouse and now Della plays with it alot!
It’s such a great way to rennovate a house without to much hustle!

New wallpaper, paint and flooring.

An old babydrawing of mine on the staircase.

I scanned a pillow from my sofa and printed out a copy for the wall.
Baby Della as a painting on the wall.
I guess Yoda drank too much yesterday, fell a sleep on the floor and threw the tellie upsidedown.

Mosaic mirrors for the 80’s effect.
Today I spiced up Violas dollhouse with some small art pieces. This is an idea I got from Johanna, when i visited her home this spring. She had put a miniature photo in the dolls kitchen, a copy of the photo above the living room sofa.

I used an ordinary sticker from Viola collection and stuck it to Shaggy´s bed room wall. Above the sofa I hung Jens´s “Life is Fake.. ” poster And my own Favorite villain in Robocop´s hallway.
Thank you Johanna, visit her blog Aprill Aprill!
