Work in progress: Jungle Gym for Saba, our cat

I’ve been told I have too much time on my hands. Sure, that might be true but what better way to spend that time than by building a gym for my cat Saba. Here are some pictures from my work in progress. I’ll show you more once the playground is all done.

Our house has 3 bedrooms on the second floor and there is a hallway connecting them all. It’s just a passing thru kind of room, perfect for Saba to keep track of us all in. Also it has visible beams, and now , thanks to me, she can access them by some narrow steps on the wall. On top of the beams Saba has a clear vision of the field outside our house via a large window, where pheasants and other cats roam all day long.

I haven’t spent any money on this, I’ve only used leftover material like mdf boards, screws and paint. (stuff that most people just throw away, but not me, I’m a hoarder)
Today I’m adding the trim around the door and painting a second time. Then I’m going to start the second section that will take her to the second beam.

We can hear Saba galloping up and down the stairs at night, while we sleep on the other side of that door.

Saba looks great with black and pink.

I love the pink paint you always use. What is the name and brand of it? Thanks!
