Lupine night love

We have this fantastic meadow behind our house. It’s our neighbor Sven’s little gem. He has been walking here with his scythe since the second world war, living in this village. Now the lupines are taking over the more traditional flowers in this meadow and Sven wants us to go to flower war. Before they will take over.

Me – I love them! All the colors are stunning! Apparently they came from the states in the 50’s or thats what he says. Sven that is.

I had to drag my hubby out one evening just to look at all the prettiness. Then the mosquitoes forced us in again. Well  to make Sven happy we’ll unroot some of them soon but have to enjoy it some more.
