a week off at the cabin – part 2

This is the view from our kitchen window. Lovely isn’t it? It was a wet week in a time of the year when everything looks haunted and grey.

Even the horses seemed to be wanting to escape somewhere else.

The clouds where so low it looks like the house is on fire. They are fixing it, the house. They stripped it down, moved it to build a new foundation so they can move it back and start over.

We life hacked with toilet paper.

And went to a hockey game. Hockey is a big thing in this town. Everyone is there. Everyone is cheering. My hart is with another team but it was still fun.

Best family portrait in years. I can never get everyone to stay put.

Bye bye house – see you next time.

Underbar utsikt från köket. Jag kan se en liten spökflicka stå där under trädet och vinka till dig en stjärnklar natt….
