Dos Visit Marcus and Ulrika and their family
Today I´m taking you to a house tour in Skurup, a southern small town in Sweden. The house belongs to Marcus and Ulrika and their son Sixten and his twin sisters Hedda and Edith.
Marcus trade is the re-use of wood. He makes all kinds of cool things from leftover furniture, driftwood and other abounded materials. Check out this flamingo he made! And this vulture. And also this water station for his garden.
Ulrika and Marcus has a very welcoming home. It has such a fun and laid back feeling to it and I love the basement where all the building takes place. (See picture below). And also they have a canoe in the garden!!!
Sixten tagged along with me the day I was there photographing. We had such a nice time together that I had to go back there one day just to photograph Sixten. I will show you that visit another day.

As soon as the family bought the house Marcus said “We need a canoe”

Sixten has the coolest bed. Underneath is a hiding place where you can hide and spy on people through the eyes of the painting.

Tavlan ovanför pianot är ett foto på ett hus i Barcelona som vi lämnat in för förstoring. Ett enkelt sätt att göra egna tavlor :)

Oh wow, I LOVE that hiding spot with cut-out eyes painting! Totally going to steal that idea for my son’s room. Or just for my own kitchen so I can spy on who is stealing the last bit of cake!

Såå fint allting, men jag tycker mig känna igen en del sedan tidigare. Har du gett oss lite tjuvkikningar därifrån tidigare, Jenny? Eller har jag sett den där roliga klosshyllan i någon tidning? Hursom – superfint! Älskar den där “spiontavlan”, vad är det nu han heter (hette) den där mannen med fez? För visst är det en kändis?

Han heter Tommy Cooper. Stor brittisk komiker under 70-talet. Han var med i bla klassikern “Plankan”.

@marcus Ja, just det! Tack, som jag grubblade. Bradley Cooper funderade jag, men det är väl en betydligt yngre förmåga (som dessutom fortfarande finns i livet…) Och “Plankan” – oförglömligt fummelku!
