On repeat

The Bully movie I wrote about in the previous post has an amazing intro and the music to it is a Belgian choir consisting of about 60 16-62 year old women! They have done loads of choir kind of covers of major hits and in the Bully intro it’s their version of Teenage Dirtbag (original by Wheatus). I think I heard this tune 100 times yesterday. So good!

They are called Scala & the Kolacny Brothers.

I mean it could be tacky the covering rock hits and stuff but it’s so well done and so utterly beautiful I get goosebumps!

Let’s hear one more! Creep – original by Radiohead.

Their covers of German songs are amazing too. Sometimes they make a whole new song out of it. I love it.

Last march belgian children died in a bus accident. Scala sang at the funeral. I won’t forget how nice they sang on such a hard day. The beauty of their voices and the grieve for such a loss.

Wow, amazing. Thank you for sharing, I found out I knew their version of Creep but didn’t know their name :)
