Summer soft

It’s a bit quiet here at dosfamily but I hope you don’t mind. It is summer after all. We can be blog nerds the rest of the year.
So what have me and my family been up to – besides swimming with dolphins?

When the sun comes out – lately, every afternoon (!!) We jump our bikes and check out the nearby villages.

I have been thinking that it should be mandatory it would be great if everyone could change towns and kind of change lives for a while. Just imagine how more tolerant we would become. And how much we learn while doing it.

I also recommend having a trunk picnic – as easy as seeing the whole Grand Canyon by car. My kind of sightseeing.

My bother-in-law Robert or Youghurt as Beppe says, finally married his gal, since 20 years, Anna.
It was a fantastic wedding! Thank you!

Max is cute but I guess too much work for my daughter. That is the perk with the” rent a rabbit” – you can bring him back! Tomorrow we will bid him farwell. I will miss those crazy sounds he does but not cleaning up all those little balls he is leaving behind.

DElla my little superhero turned 6! I have been a mum for six years. WOW. Truly amazing and WOW again just because.
Being a mum and having a kid as great as Della is the best of what life has to offer!
And another WOW for my new table that I built and painted turquoise. Loving it.

We have been trying to stop with diapers but ended up using them more than ever.

The famous painter Anders Zorn and his wife Emma use to live here, in Mora. A wonderful home and museum.
Surely a must see when you are in Dalarna!

And luckily for me she is too young to be lucky in love.

How is your summers?

Living in a new country is so important to opening up your world views and making people more tolerant of other cultures and people! I like your idea in theory…but if it’s mandatory people won’t appreciate it as much! I do think that encouraging more people to live in new places is important! Thanks for your summer post! It’s reminding me to get off the computer (even if here in France the weather isn’t playing along with the fact that it’s summer!)
