My “chillin in the cabin” week

Oh my, first days of real summer. Hot nice weather, going to fleamarkets, fixing up the cabin, drinking rosé taking the first dip in the lake and cuddeling my kids. Sweden is so so green at the moment. Fantastico!

There is still a lot to do in the kitchen but we got an extra window fixed- I am so pleased. Couldn’t stop smiling at my own geniusness the first couple of days… Now I see more of the forrest behind the house and extra light all over!

I started an other projcct in the living room. It has something to do with books. But I am not sure I picked the right books. Will show you more later.

The horse is still not finished but on it’s way. Della got a saddle from a neighbor and it was big succes. All the village kids have been playing with that horse. Guess the key with kids is to give them real stuff. Real stuff on an imaginary pony…

Beppe wanted to play as well. He helped me put up my map and some flags on the house outside. There is so much to do that I don’t even know where to begin. Or I start to paint the living room, then I realise I need a drill so I go to the garden, there I see the flags, so I put them up and forget about the paint. Then I see that a bike need fixing. And it goes on and on.

Della helped me paint the living room. Such a perfect shade of green/turqouise! She is so cool.

Between all the hard work I also had time to read a book while Beppe was watching Pippi Longstocking.

bye bye for now
