Got myself some new kicks – DIY

Spring!
Time to toss the old Converse out the window and get a new pair. The first ones I ever bought was a blue pair so it felt like it was time for blue again.
But of course I just can’t let them be plain.
A couple of years back – (well more than 7), I used to sell customized sneakers in NYC,Tokyo, London and Stockholm. Now I just make them for fun.

I’ve been wanting a studded pair for a while but never got around finishing them.
First I cut out a piece of paper about the same size as the side of the shoe.

Then I lay all the studs out on the paper as a template.
The studs are from Panduro and
the shoes from SneakersNStuff (if ever in Stockholm & you like sneakers -this is the place to go).

The testing about still havn’t made me sure of which color to use on the laces.
I always, always swap the laces.

White is just so white.

I also like my old Fixa Rummet ones – Pollock inspired. Very nice.
