May first – things going on in Jenny’s village

The first day of May means 2 things in our village.

1. The local zoo opens.
   We will be there to get seasonal passes and check out the new baby animals like lemurs, zebras and pigs.
2. The local church opens for the summer.
   There is a church next door to our house. It’s been there since the 11th century. During the summer it’s open every day for tourists and worshipers. Jens and I have been it’s key masters since we moved in to our village 12 years ago. We open and close every day when the regular staff is away.
