A madame found in a dumpster
Yes, I’ve been dumpster diving again. Can’t help it. Makes me both happy and sad. All these great things people are just throwing away. This container was full of splendid stuff but the only thing I was able to bring home was this painting. Yes it’s a bit ripped and my family hates it but I think it mos def has something? Those sad eyes maybe. And the colors. Well up the wall it will go. As soon as I find a nail!

I love your blue lady! I rescued a vintage doll head from a dumpster recently, cleaned her up and set her down in my little girl’s cabinet of curiosities. Some call the doll head “creepy”. Well, how should she look considering she’s spent more than 30 years in a dark attic and then found herself en route to the dump before a last minute reprieve? ! x
Haha yeah keeping your head in a dark attic can make pretty much anyone creepy! but I love finds like that. Just thinking about who that doll made happy before! Thanks for youe comment!
I really like you and Jenny. I’ve left a comment before that I will never be able to find again… which basically said that when I want to escape on the internet, I come to your blog. I find you guys really human in the best way… you show me how you can be creative and a parent at the same time… something that I sort of thought wasn’t possible. I have a bit of an all or nothing personality. And when I think of being a parent it seems like it will suck all my energy from me. Anyway thanks for showing me another way of living. :)
Hi Jessica, this is like the best comment ever. Thank you for giving us the courage to go on! parenthood or just living is not that easy at times and then it’s important to find you outlets. And yes being a parent sucks the energy from me as well from time to time but that is life. Big kisses isabelle
