New work for Family Living & Beckers

There was a competition in the magazine Family Living called “The most ugly kids room in Sweden” and the prize was a room make over by me with the help of Beckers. The very cool 11 year old, Polly Lee was the winner so just before x-mas we went and did her room.

Polly wanted white walls and popping colors. A fun room. Where she could put her things on display and more of a thought out storage solution. I think she just needed a bit more of a red tread in the room.

One side of the room was 4 meters high. To get it more cozy we hung the room full of lamps and stars. All the colors- circles are painted with chalk board paint. It possible to get Beckers all 300+ as a chalk board. I did it like this so she could hang posters and things in the circles but also write and draw stuff on them.
