Paint your shoes – and keep them longer

I have this pair of Stans Smiths, it’s kind of  complementary being Swedish and living in my neighborhood owning a pair of white sneakers like this (just kiddin’ but a bit the uniform for a media worker in Stockholm). Anyways. The where worn and dirty. But mostly just worn but not torn. So I simply used some leftover paint and painted them white again. Both wall paint and some kind of varnish works fine. There are leather paint out there but I just took whatever I had at home. And since everyone loves painting in white there should be a lot out there!

It’s the second time I’ve done it with these shoes and I think it really works! I also washed the laces but I guess I had to do that more often. Now my old shoes will look pretty and work even longer.
