More thrifting – luffarslöjd

De senaste åren har jag lite snöat in på luffarslöjd eller trådslöjd som det också heter. Förr i tiden så gick luffare runt och tvinnade metalltråd till olika föremål som de senare kunde sälja. Jag gillar att det ser lite hemmagjort ut och jag gillar rosten. Nu för tiden är det ju ganska dyrt när man väl hittar något på loppis eller i antikbodar vilket är ju lite typiskt…

These items I found at some flea markets are an old traditional craft that kind of vagabonds did back in the days of metal wire and then sold. I love the feel and the patina of them and nowadays it’s quite expensive when you want to buy it – what is rather typical isn’t it?
