Friday I’m in love

Friday yet again.
It goes so quick and since I worked all past weekend, had a day off Wednesday since it was national holiday and then working again tomorrow I really don’t know where my brain’s at.

This week has been fun!

You who follow me on instagram (isabellemcallister is my insta name) may recognize the pillows above that I made of my friends Sofia and Staffan who both this spring turned 40. I did a little Instagram saga that you can see under the name #gillgertz40
I will post the whole story here on the blog next week as well.

Our friends super cool mega diy’er Brittany from the blog “The house that lars build” won a Kentucky Derby hat competition on the Today’s show. coolest paper flower hat I’ve ever seen! Congrats!! She also has a cool feature about interesting people in her neighborhood – love it.

I also love the people on the face book page Humans of New York  -small stories and great photo’s of yes humans of New York. Very inspiring!

Showed this to Jenny and she suddenly wanted to make more babies so she could photograph all the sisters like this 4 sisters has been taking their portrait for 40 years. Stunning!

Big ups to NBA Star Jason Collins! I also really loved all the comments of support to him. That’s what I love with the quick response of social media.

Thinking of buying these for the summer but don’t know which color I’d go for? Yellow?

Also want to see the Gatsby movie!

Tomorrow I will be flying up up north to Luleå Expo and will be giving talks about decorating! Hope to see some of you there?
