Sponsor Give away from winter water factory

It’s a week before Christmas and we’re happy to have one of our lovely sponsors Winter Water Factory to do a GiveAway this week!

Winter Water Factory makes beautiful organic clothes all made in the US and they all have lovely prints and patterns. The woman behind it all is Stefanie Lynen and her husband Todd Warnock. The company is based in Brooklyn but Steffi is originally from Germany. Read more about her and the company’s interesting story here.

Why is print and patterns such a big part of your designs?

From a very young age, I was always obsessed with prints, patterns and textiles. I got this tiny bright orange sewing machine for Christmas one year, and started sewing clothes for my dolls. I’ve been crafting and making things since kindergarten, and was always really into mass-production, figuring out how to make not just one but 50 of something really efficiently.

Do you have a favorite of your prints?
Each season I find that I have a few favorite prints, this season I think the Confetti, Winter Forest, and Leaves and Berries prints came out great for fall!

Joy from the popular blog Oh Joy has made a special collaboration with winter water factory – find the collection here

How is it working with your husband – do you have any extra good tips for anyone wanting to make a family business?

I love working with Todd (my husband) because we’re married and close, it’s easier to be totally honest and straightforward with each other and not beat around the bush, like we might have to with others. I think we both know that we have each others and the company’s best interests in our minds and hearts, so it’s easier to always say exactly what we’re thinking.

Winter water factory is giving a $50 gift certificate to their shop.
To be able to win please comment below on this question:
Which Winter Water Factory print or product is your favorite?

The give away competition will be open from Monday, December 17th until  Thursday December 20th.

Winter Water Factory ship internationally and you can buy all their collections straight from the shop.
You can also find them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Good Luck!

I love the mushroom print, but I’m pretty sure my toddler’s favorite — and she gets to wear the clothes — is the owls. “Owlie dress! Owlie dress!”

They have so much lovely stuff, and how great that it’s hand-printed *and*organic! I think my current favorite is the Sunny Meadow Blue tote.

Ho. Itis difficult to choose a print because all of them are amazing. For example, for kids I like the floral garden, Trees, green leaves and confetti. And for adults…The same. If a won, I would surely choose a dress.

I tried to think outside the box by thinking about ME, not the kids, 2 and 4, for ones. And my heart loved Women’s Charlotte Dress – Sunny Meadow Red and Pink. A part of me stares at it in fear though. It IS NOT black, blue or beige, my standard warderobe colors. But that what makes it oh sooo lovely!

love love their stuff. we have one of their pieces and it is so special – just a little bit different with the line drawings. i have been coveting the winter forest pants in chocolate for my little guy. why not have a solid top and all-over-patterned pants for once instead of the other way around ;)

thank you for this chance.

the children’s clothes are a refreshing delight, but if I win, I would treat myself to one of the gorgeous dresses. I think I would live in that charlotte dress.

Oh, so many lovely prints – I instinctively fell for Winter Forest Chocolate, anything chocolate! The long sleeved tee would be perfect for my 3 yr old – the animals are both pretty and a bit scary.

Wow, the prints are really stand-out! I would love to get one that I could frame later for my child’s room. (Yes, I’m a freak, framing outgrown clothes sounds fantastic in my world. ;D) The high seas print is now a favorite.
