Let’s Mullvarpa

Hello!

hope you are having a splendid and happy holidays?!

Just wanted to talk about one of my favorite words in Swedish – Mullvarpa. That’s what we have been doing since we came here or what we did it the first day. Our house is around 120 years old and it can get quite cold. So when it is snow we shovel snow up 1,5 on the house facade and we pack it hard. It’s an old way of giving the house some extra isolation. And you know it works really well! We have one cold spot on the floor and we got the warmth up with at least 10 degrees!
Now I’m going to hit the slopes!

Kul att lära sig ett nytt ord – hade aldrig hört det och ändå bor jag i norra Norrland och mullvarpar för jämnan november till april!
