Dos Visit Lisa, Denis and Mika

I have already showed you the artist Lisa Grues studio, today I´m taking you to her home, that she shares with Denis and their son Mika.
I went there on a rainy but warm day. The GPS on my phone guided me through the streets of Copenhagen and had me stop in front of a grey door in the middle of the city. There was no buzzer so I called Lisa  on her phone, and she came to let me in.
It´s alway very exciting meeting people like this. We have usually never met before.  And Lisa and I talked about this on our way up the stairs to her home. I wont describe Lisa´s home in words, instead I want you to click an image to start the slideshow and see for yourselfs.

Just click any photos for a larger version and description. They are best view in full size.
And also check out Lisa´s site Underwerket here and her blog here don´t miss her shop here!

All photos by me, Jenny Brandt. If you do borrow them please link back.

Thank you guys for this post! This home was featured in finnish magazine Kotivinkki and I totally fell in love. Only thing I missed was more pictures and now you two ladies made my dream come true. Thank you so much and thank you Lisa, Denis and Mika too!

Jenny: Thank you Killi! Oh I would love to see that mag. Lisa´s home is such a little “Pearl” as we say in Swedish. Thank you for your comment.

Hm. Blev det där verkligen rätt formulerat nu? ;) Nä, men vad gör det? Ni vet ju vad jag menar.

most interesting swedish decor blog | trendey

[…] In the meantime, while Trendey sisters focus on their regular careers & professions, we have the greatest blog tips for you: Dos family. As always, you might already know all about it, but if not: this is a blog by decorator (slash designer, columnist, TV-presenter, etc)  Isabelle Halling McAllister and photographer Jenny Brandt (who also has the sammy rose blog + shop) The lovely pics above are shot by Jenny at Isabelle’s. I think the black wall display is fabulous! And there’s loads of more inspiration on playful and charming kids’ rooms (like the one right) on their site. It’s undoable (and unnecessary) to define their interior style tastes, but I’d summarize it Happy Scandinavian :) Clearly creative, retro, personal, arty, homey, free-spirited and fun. Below is a really nice example of a ‘Dos Visit’, photographer Jenny Brandt visits Lisa Grue’s home. More of this lovely retro charm can be found here. […]

First of all I would like to say terrific blog!
I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
I have had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first
10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any ideas or hints? Kudos!

Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established
blog. Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about setting up my own but
I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Cheers
