My “longing” week – Isabelle

Oh dear- this was the longest week apart from my family ever. I felt like the doll above left.
But consoled myself with two things.
1. I have a great job – we filmed with a little ice princess this week and I skated for the first time in 15 years- fun.
2.I am not divorced. My kids doesn’t live with me every other week. This is just a period in our life. I feel for all you parents out there whateever reason you have that you are apart from your family, friends and kids. It’s damn hard. Lots of love for you!

It’s interesting with all these men out ther when you travel like I do. Suits in the airport, suits at breakfast in the hotel. Men in suits and me comparing gifts for the kids that we bring back to cover up the hole inside of us for not beeing there.
I bought a soapbubble maschine – very cool and very appriciated.

Saturday my kids went nuts in the local H&M. The littel one was so tired he screamed as someone was killing him. I knew it was only going to be minutes before he was falling asleep. So I stayed in the store (he would have slept before I exited the mall) but those minutes where hell. Della then took the oppertunity to badly wanting this damn ugly Hello Kitty shirt and had a fit about it. The drama escalated when I started to cry (no – not true but I badly wanted to). Della threw herself on the floor and fake puked of drama (like this choking puking noices – she makes them when she is upset). Everyone in the store thought I hit her or something. It was mad. They are crazy and have been screaming before in stores but never like this.
For me  – I had to make this a point. So I just let her scream. Then this old lady produced some candy and it was all over. Just like that.

I also found this lovely old monkey at the house we filmed in. The shirt reminds me of this.

And I bought this lovely old school map. Allways wanted one. Now it’s mine! Yaay!

I also found rose bowls at a second hand store in Malmö. Damn it’s so cheap- thrifting in Malmö.
In Stockholm it costs three times as much.

Can you spot the banana? Thats one thing I don’t miss when beeing away. Cookies, bananas and other gooey stuff that the kids leaves behind. No – leaves everywhere.

My almost 60 year old bonus mum, with a hip replacement, went skateboarding for the first time with Della. Apparently she wanted to show Della some tricks…. A lot cooler saying she broke her arm skating than , lets say tripping on the kitchen carpet. Della was pleased with a new sort of canvas though.

I love this weird cushion – Marimekko showed in their shop. And just look at this plant-table !

Home for a week now. And so pleased. I love my home.
