We went to beautiful Gripsholm Castle in Mariefred yesterday
and I even break th law for you guys – I took these pics althoug it’s forbidden.
The thing is I am really afraid of the police but for you I’ll do anything even show my knickers.
Anyway Gripsholm is great for inspiration. Just look at these painted ceilings
and the bombastic patterns in Sofia Albertinas old bed room.
Last year we went to beautiful Carl Larsons Sundborn.
What I think is interesting- both Gripsholm and Sundborn is really bold painted
and still Sweeds are talking about the with airy clean tradition – but where does it come from?
