I am Cecilie from Copenhagen. I think I found your blog in a Danish magazine (Alt for damerne), but that was a long time ago. I love to read your blog, it’s an inspiration for my own blog as well as the family life I’m about to start myself (I’m 8 months pregnant).

January 7, 2013 at 14:03

Hi, I’m Elissa from Perth, Australia, where it is currently very, very hot. I too have been reading and enjoying Dos Family for years and can’t remember the original place I found you. I’m sure it was from seeing one of your beautiful photos on an interiors blog.

I must remember to comment more often in future! I love every single photo and post you publish.

January 7, 2013 at 14:54

Hej! I’m Sanna, a Finn living in Sweden. I found you after I had moved to Sweden a few years ago through a magazine. Been following for a while that is, but as a typical Finn I’m just keeping quiet in the background. :) Keep up the good work!

January 7, 2013 at 15:40

I’m Julia from Denmark, blogging under the name The Vintage Hausfrau. I’m not good at commenting, but I read (almost) each and every post you guys write. I found your blog when I was looking into Isabelle’s background, because I was curious what kind of educations she had. I’ve had a girl crush on Isabelle since my time in Sweden (lived there from 2001 til 2008), where I saw her being oh-so creative on tv-shows :)

January 7, 2013 at 15:53

I’m Lisa from Norrköping. I found your blog about a month ago and have read practically every post by now! I love your diy’s and fantastic family photos!! Don’t ever stop bloging. So tired of the Swedish everything-is-white-bullshit! I need you guys in my interial design-life! <3

Hej hej!

I found you through Google. I’m from the US!

January 7, 2013 at 16:40

å sen fastnar man liksom, precis som alla andra. Det var väl det. Hej hej!

January 7, 2013 at 17:45

Hejsan!

January 7, 2013 at 22:03

Hi! I’ve kinda followed what Isabelle has done ever since Zick Zack…and now my daughter (5 and a half) loves Fixa Rummet – so the thing we have for you runs in the family. I shopped a print (the Pillsbury doughboy one) from Sammy Rose before I knew you two were connected. So DOS Family wraps everything up for me, one of my favorite daily reads.
Me? I’m a trekkie and a mom, two great kids that rock my world. And a pretty neat bearded husband to boost.
Love what you do!

Hello everyone, I’m Helena and I live with my bf and two wierd cats in Norrköping, Sweden. I found this blog because I was reading the sammyrose blog. Can’t remember how I found that one though. It was years ago. :) Anyway, I like them both very much and I love the prints. Have faith in Carl already hangs on my kitchen wall. But I sure wouldnt mind having another one! :)

January 7, 2013 at 22:28

Hello there! I’m Joy from Seattle, Washington, USA. I think I originally found one of your House Visit Tours through either Apartment Therapy or Pinterest. I got addicted to bloggers who love thrifty, vintange style and then slowly that has lead me to be infatated with Swedish and Scandinavian design where there are rooms painted in all white with bright pops of color and interesting objects all around. I’m originally from the Southern US where it is hot and humid and loved it. The winters here in Seattle are gray and rainy and last FOR. EVER. I think that is why I’m so drawn to the cheery home and house visits of your blog. I also love how fun y’all are and full of life. It is inspiring and, especially in the winter, I need to remember to focus on inspiring, not gloomy things. Thank you! xoxo Joy

January 7, 2013 at 22:34

Oj!

I think I will celebrate my surprise-reward in english – so that everyone can understand how happy I am! And surprised! And happy! And… :)

(I never win anything – I swear nothing! And I even tried to guess how many meatballs a swedish meat-producer’s site had displayed on a large, large, and high!, tray a few weeks before X-mas. But nothing.)

Hello, I am Sue May from Costa Rica. I’ve been reading your blog for a long time. The first time I read of it was through apartment therapy. I was going through a rough time in my life and saw Isabelle’s daughter’s bedroom, that amazing wall brought a smile on my face.

And that was a long, long time ago. And now that everything is settled with my life and we are considering having kids this site is a source of inspiration.

January 8, 2013 at 23:23

Wow, it is super cool to read everyone’s comments and link to their blogs! Just added a few more blogs to my newsfeed because of this post.

I’m Rachel Ann and I live in Orange County, California. (Yes, like the Jack Black movie, though I don’t surf or do drugs. :) I found your blog through Pinterest; more specifically, through a tutorial on how to make a lace doily lamp. I’ve been following you for about a year now and love love love your blog. I love it because you’re not American and your ideas aren’t American (even if they’re sometimes inspired by American things, they are done so in a distinctly Swedish manner, which is totally cool) so your ideas awaken parts of my brain that never would have woken up if I didn’t have this little window into another country. I’m always telling my sisters about what “my Swedish girls” are doing and making them look at pictures on your Instagram. And when @JennyfromDosFamily and @Breakfastdesign both liked a picture or two on MY Instagram, I just about peed my pants with excitement. :)

Your ideas inspire others, so thank you for committing to this blog. I’ll try to comment more often, cause I know how happy blog comments can make you.

January 9, 2013 at 08:26
