Dos Vistis my own home
This visit was very close to home, my own home in fact.
I live here with Jens, who works as an illustrator and our 4-year old daughter: Viola. We moved from an apartment in Malmö into this house 3 years ago. And all of the rooms have transformed since then.
On the first floor you will see our pink kitchen and two white rooms. One of them is my office, I spend a lot of time in there by the green table, with my computer.
The other room is our so called TV-room.
When we moved here the upstairs only had one small room and one fairly big attic. Now it is remodeled into 3 small bedrooms, a hallway and a-soon-to-be-bathroom.
One bedroom for us, one for Viola and an office for Jens.

Such a lovely home! I had the privilege of visiting Stockholm in the summer of ‘08 and while there I bought a magazine (just for the eye candy because of course I could not read it) anyway I tore pictures out of the things that I liked and it so happened to be your home that was featured. I feel so lucky to have found your blog, it is wonderfully inspiring.
I love the combination of soft colours and stronger patterns and objects in your home, it makes a very unique and cosy place. I like the white floorboards, and that pink sofa of yours is amazing!

Det här har man väntat på, att få se ditt hem Jenny! väldigt personligt och alldeles alldeles underbart;-) galet fin mix. Jag är väldigt svag för turkost, gillar därför Violas rum massor.

okay, okay - so, here i go again.
firstly i love all the white walls and floors, the playful use of colour and pattern throughout - i have had the bird wallpaper in my inspiration file for an age, it looks wonderful in real life. i love the bits and pieces from your past lives, the clock (a stopped clock is right twice a day), the Kiss photographs, the darling ballet costume - those details are wonderful and very unique. your office is amazing, i really like the black wall in there. your kitchen is also beautiful, but really i just love it all. love it. LOVE IT.

Äntligen!! Som jag längtat efter ett hemma-hos-Jenny-reportage! Fantastiskt fint och inspirerande! Kan knappt vänta till A kommer hem från jobbet och jag kan visa honom exakt hur jag också vill ha det hemma!
Gillar särskilt Violas tapeter, de där roliga grejerna man kan gunga i som hänger i taket och alla fina bilder/foton/detaljer i form av leksaksgubbar osv! Vänta några år, när vi har råd att köpa hus kommer du att få se en totally rip-off - nästan!

veldig inspirerende - som alle dine “at home” repotasjer digger jeg måten du tar bilder på også - ikke bare hva du tar bilder av. Vi har levd alt for lenge i vårt halvferdige hus som har vært alt for sterilisert og lite personlig, men det skal det blir - med så mye inspirasjon som du gir oss ved å vise morsomme/festlige og spennende hjem!!
