We are still here!

Isabelle and I are still alive and kicking. But a bit tuned off from the blog.
Isabelle is busy building a dream like sauna and enjoying summer in Dalarna.  And I´m all over the place, photographing homes in Sweden and Denmark. We will be back once summer has stopped being so darn lovely. Take care!

These pictures are of me in other peoples homes. Photos from my instagram @jennyfromdosfamily or my sidekick writer/stylist Kicki´s instagram @kickimustard

Great question.

Their dad ,jens ,does. Or at least that was our plan. His business is usually a bit slower during summer. But This one really has not been slow at all. So my mom Doris (wonder women) Has stepped in.

There are daycares and “after school programs” that you can enrole your kids in during summer if you work. Lots of People do.

Cool :)

I am not working for now. I will one day, but I have three kids under 5, so things get expensive and I want to spend time with my kids before they start school. I have lot’s of projects, but I have trouble getting them done since I am with the kids all the day. I do have a babysitter that comes 4 hours a week and during the fall my daughter (4 years old) starts pre-school 8 hours a week. Maybe I will have time to take a photography class or something ;)

It is really hard getting it all to run smoothly. I would say It is impossible. “You cant have it all” as Jack from 30 Rocks says. But I love to work. I really ,really love to work. And I really need to do it to stay “happy”.. or at least sane. =)
Viola is 8 and Frank 3,5. They started daycare at 3/2 yrs old. Both Jens and I work from home and we try to divide work and family stuff equally. (not an easy task though)

I do however feel I´m more efficient now then before I had kids. Back then I could easily spend 6 hours on the couch watching Wonder women or the Love Boat while eating chocolates. Now I get things done!

A Baby sitter sounds like a good thing for you so you can do something for your self for a while.

That’s great ! Great team work for you and your husband :)

Daycare is a big thing for me because I used to work in one and I didn’t want my kids to go 5 days a week… My youngest is 2 and still in diapers, so I will wait still… He’s so young !

Some days I’m like “what the hell am I doing with my life??” and like “they always fight, I can’t take care”, somedays I’m like “I’m so lucky”. It’s weid because I dream of having a cool career, but it seems so intense. I can’t really get “focused”, you know?

I totally understand that you like your work because it does sound so much fun !!!!!! Hehehe :)
