As I returned from the USA to Sweden this week it is pretty obvious that Swedes don´t decorate their houses much for Christmas. And I already miss the outrageous plastic Santas and twinkling lights that was displayed in every other house in Lincoln (see pictures). Some houses even played Christmas music , yes it is true! Another thing that hits me ,coming home, is the darkness. It is so terribly dark here, I have not seen the sun once this week. It does not make any sense, we should have more christmas lights in the winter. Much more.
Next year I will go all “Clark Griswold” on our house for Christmas and that will be my cure for the darkness.
I love this little small tree full of golden ornaments.
