Book tip – Isabelle reads

Jonathan Tropper – This is where I leave you

Another great book. Makes me laugh just thinking about it – and I laughed out loud while reading it.

The main character Judd, his wife leaves him for his boss and then his father dies. The fathers last wish is to sit Shiva what apparently is to mourn for 7 days with the family under the same roof. The family is somewhat crazy and dysfunctional. So it all goes bananas.

Like I told you before I’m not good at giving you fancy reviews so head over to NYtimes for one about this book.

What I like is all the small observations that’s going on – about life in general – and since I’m a picture person he really paints it right with words so I can be swallowed in the book.

In a way the book reminds me about the Hangover movie but not as dorky. Just fun and still with a deeper darker side. Well maybe not so much as the hangover then but anyway. Just read it!
