The flaws are the key

So I found this -Ted talk yesterday on Johannas blog (thanks!) and got a bit blown away by Tavi Gevinson. I just want to copy paste what Johanna wrote – basically that Tavi is 15 years and brilliant and how can I get my kids to end up that bright?

Just hear this:
Women are complicated, women are multifaceted not because women are crazy, because people are crazy and women happen to be people. What makes a strong female character is a character who has weaknesses, who has flaws, who is maybe not immediately likable but eventually relateable.

I think we should remember this more often!
